PUPUZO involves research, advocacy, capacity building, and policy engagement to promote accessibility across tourism systems; destinations, services, infrastructure, and experiences.
More than 15% of the global population lives with some form of disability, while many more people experience access barriers due to age, health, mobility, sensory, cognitive, or other diverse needs. When tourism systems exclude people, they limit participation, dignity, independence, and economic opportunity.
